Room I - Prototype Box Designs

By no means are you limited to these designs. They are simply provided as a starting point for your thinking and because I felt they had a great deal of artistic merit on their own.

Room II of the Gallery will show you designs done for patrons (commissioned) which were entirely custom designed.

A second area for design inspiration might be the plates located in Room III . The rosettes and border designs could easily be incorporated into a box.

Often, a hand carved heirloom box is desired but the luxury of waiting the necessary time for a totally unique creation is not possible. Or perhaps a preconceive idea of the style is absent. As my schedule permits, I create designs for boxes that will serve to fill those unanticipated occasions that we all experience. The delivery time for the boxes above is generally quicker since the bulk of the design is already developed.

Any of the prototype designs shown above can, of course, also incorporate some personalized elements (e.g., with an individuals name or monogram carved on the front panel, or name; monogram or short message/verse carved on the underside of the lid).
