An antique hot air balloon served as the focal point to symbolize the connection between heaven and earth (or the spiritual and the material). The grandchild's activities and delights were represented by the hummingbirds; the music score (she played the flute); and the comedy and tragedy masks for her enjoyment of the theater. The angel was a testament to both her nickname and her grandmother's affection for her. |
